  • Jan Powers Farmers Markets

    Jan Power's Farmers Markets are in two convenient locations near the Novotel Brisbane. Brisbane City markets are located on the George Street end of Queen Street Mall in front of the Treasury Casino every Wednesday from 8am-6pm. New Farm Powerhouse markets on Lamington Street are held each Saturday from 6am-12pm. New Farm park is also a great place for children with a large playground and picnic area. Conveniently located near a City Cat stop on the Brisbane River.  

  • Good Food and Wine Show

    Discover new food, great wine and local products at The Good Food and Wine Show Brisbane. Learn some tasty new recipes and cooking tips from Australia's best chefs on the main stage. Participate in tastings, classes and more!

  • Valley Fiesta

    Valley Fiesta turns 21 this year! Bring your family and friends along to this exciting free event filled with culture, markets, art, music and food. The 2 day Valley Fiesta will run from October 27-28 with live performances all day long.

  • GOMA : Yayoi Kusama

    Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama + Gallery of Modern Art

    Explore Kusama's vast body of work from over 60 years. 'Life is the Heart of a Rainbow'  illustrates her concept of space with early experiments and large-scale installations. Spend the afternoon viewing Kusama's work in the Gallery or immerse yourself in the interactive 'obliteration room' in the Children's Art Centre.

  • Queensland Ballet's Peter Pan

    Join Wendy and her two brothers on a spectacular adventure. A world of fairies, pirates, swordfights and a very large crocodile awaits.   • Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum

    The Gladiators exhibition features over 110 original artefacts including pieces of the Colosseum, authentic elaborately decorated bronze gladiator helmets and original arms and armour preserved in the ashes of Pompeii.
