The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) is a single institution located across two adjacent river-side buildings in the Cultural Precinct at Brisbane's South Bank.

It holds a collection of over 17,000 works of historical, modern and contemporary art, and stages a dynamic program of Australian and international exhibitions. The best way to see Brisbane is by climbing it!  In addition South Bank also has its very own inner city beach called the Street's Beach. Streets Beach is free to use and is patrolled by qualified lifeguards all year round. The lifeguard’s hours change throughout the year, so please contact the South Bank Visitor Centre on (07) 3156 6366 to see when they are patrolling

Perched on the Brisbane River waterfront, Eagle Street Pier is famous for its wide selection of fantastic dining and entertainment options. Spend a day or an evening here, and soak in the city's lively atmosphere. Every Sunday visitors can stroll through a market that offers all sorts of hand-made crafts, arts, jewellery and clothing for purchase. Within the market, there are also street entertainers to keep you amazed and entertained during your visit.

This attraction also features ongoing events such as family days, tapas nights and Schnitzel eating challenges! Known for its food, stunning views and meeting places, the Eagle Street Pier is a fabulous place to hang out with family and friends, and make long-lasting memories.
